A professional opportunity awaits for individuals skilled in providing specialized speech-language pathology services within an educational setting. This position is focused on fostering communication development for K-12 students and is set to run from mid-July through May of the following year.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Previous experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students.
- Strong assessment and intervention skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Location: Collierville, TN
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring speech therapy.
- Provide direct therapy services to students and monitor their progress.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate speech and language goals into the classroom.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and needs.
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and progress as required by the school.
