Location: Colorado Springs, CO Duration: Annual contract for the school year, with potential extension
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to facilitate effective communication interventions.
- Deliver therapy services in various formats, including one-on-one, small groups, and consultation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and outcomes.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary-aged students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and staff
- Ability to manage a caseload of 35-40 students across 1-2 school locations
- Knowledge of IEP processes and best practices in therapy
