Job Description
An experienced candidate is sought for a full-time position in Columbia City, IN, within a K-12 school setting. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with a team of dedicated professionals, focusing on providing exceptional support to students with diverse communication needs.
Qualifications:
- Active Indiana teaching certification and Speech-Language Pathologist license
- CCC-SLP preferred, but Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply
- Experience in healthcare, pediatrics, and school settings
- Proficiency with IEP software and processes
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Location: Columbia City, Indiana
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students
- Collaborate with instructional assistants and other SLPs on IEP development and implementation
- Manage a caseload with a maximum of 75 students, utilizing a 3:1 therapy model
- Conduct evaluations and complete service logs for Medicaid as required
- Participate in weekly and monthly meetings with SLP staff to discuss progress and strategies
