Job Description
An opportunity awaits for a skilled candidate to support elementary students in a dynamic educational setting. This contract position involves working with a K-6th grade caseload, focusing on enhancing communication skills for approximately 22 students. The role is set to begin around August 15, 2025, and extend until May 30, 2026, with the potential for renewal.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC).
- Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly in school settings.
- Familiarity with IEP systems, preferably Samegoal Plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators and support staff.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Location: Columbus, OH
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to support students' communication goals.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy as needed.
- Document and maintain records of student performance and progress.
