A highly skilled professional is needed to support students in a K-12 educational setting in Columbus, OH. This role focuses on providing comprehensive speech and language services to elementary and middle school students, facilitating their communication needs for the upcoming school year.
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Communication Disorders
- Valid Ohio state license or the ability to obtain one
- Certification and credentials in speech-language pathology
- Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in elementary and middle schools
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educational staff
Location:
- Columbus, OH
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring speech therapy
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students communication goals
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation as required
- Offer consultation and support to staff regarding students speech and language needs
- Supervise Clinical Fellows as needed
