Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Valid state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with high school students
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation
Location: Concord, CA
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess students speech and language needs through standardized tests and observations
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students requirements
- Provide direct therapy to a caseload of 55 high school students, plus a small group aged 18-22
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate speech and language goals into the classroom
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation as required by the school
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
