Job Description
Engage your specialized expertise in a dynamic K-12 educational environment located in Cordova, TN. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support students' communication needs from mid-July to May of the following year. With three openings available, you can choose to work either full-time or part-time, allowing for flexibility in your schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide diagnoses for students with speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs.
- Collaborate with educators and parents to facilitate effective communication strategies.
- Provide direct therapy to students requiring speech and language intervention.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy techniques as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided and student progress.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid state licensure and certification as a speech-language pathologist.
- Experience working with K-12 students preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
