Job Description
An opportunity exists for a dedicated professional with specialized skills in speech-language pathology within a K-12 educational setting. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about supporting students' communication needs and enhancing their educational experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and parents.
- Provide direct therapy services to students requiring speech and language intervention.
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support overall student development.
Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC).
- Experience working in a school setting, particularly with K-12 students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficient in developing IEPs and working with diverse populations.
