Job Description
Experienced professionals are sought for part-time positions in Rowlett and Sunnyvale, TX, within an engaging elementary school environment. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students with diverse communication needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders.
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to implement IEP goals.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and treatment outcomes.
- Deliver instruction and intervention primarily focused on articulation and language delays.
- Support a positive and inclusive classroom environment for all students.
Qualifications:
- Valid Texas SLP license with ASHA CCC.
- Previous experience in pediatric speech therapy, preferably in a school setting.
- Strong understanding of speech and language development in children.
- Ability to work effectively with a varied student caseload.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capacity to pass a background check and work on-site.

This position runs through the school year, requiring approximately 10 hours per week, with a focus on students ranging from kindergarten to sixth grade. The school day for students is from 7:55 AM to 3:15 PM.
