An exciting opportunity exists for a skilled professional to make a significant impact in a K-12 educational setting located in Daly City, CA. This contract position spans the school year and involves working three days a week with a diverse caseload ranging from preschool through eighth grade.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC).
- Experience working with early childhood and elementary students.
- Familiarity with various eligibility categories, including Autism and Intellectual Disabilities.
- Strong case management skills, particularly with speech-only students.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educational staff and families.
Location:
- Daly City, California
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students requiring speech and language support.
- Develop and implement tailored intervention plans to meet individual student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to integrate speech and language goals into the classroom.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and services provided.
- Manage a caseload of 30-35 students, including 10 speech-only cases.
