This position spans the 2025-2026 school year, commencing in August, and involves working across two elementary sites. Candidates with a strong understanding of school-based Speech Therapy practices are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid State SLP Licensure
- Experience in a school environment is preferred, though not mandatory
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators and other specialists

Location:
Decatur, AL
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students requiring speech and language support
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to facilitate effective communication strategies
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy approaches as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a supportive school environment
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with regulations
