Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educational staff.
- Provide direct therapy to a diverse caseload of 45-50 elementary students.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy techniques as necessary.
- Engage with parents and guardians to discuss student development and strategies for support.
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to enhance student learning and wellness.
Qualifications:
- Active CCC-SLP licensure in Illinois.
- PEL Certification is required.
- Masters Degree in Communication Disorders or a related field.
- Previous experience in school settings or with pediatric populations is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with staff and families.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and work within a structured schedule.
