An opportunity exists for a skilled professional to support students in a K-12 educational setting. This contract position is based in Denver, CO, and spans the entire school year, allowing for meaningful engagement with students and staff alike.
Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist with a CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence).
- Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Previous experience working in a school setting, particularly with K-12 students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Knowledge of various speech and language disorders and appropriate therapy techniques.
Location: Denver, CO
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to create and implement IEPs.
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions tailored to student needs.
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
