Job Description
An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide essential support in a K-12 educational setting located in Des Plaines, IL. This contract position spans from now until June 6, 2025, focusing on fostering the communication skills of students across preschool and middle school grade levels.
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in preschool and middle school settings
- Strong assessment and evaluation skills
- Ability to create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Location: Des Plaines, IL
Responsibilities:
- Support students in their language development needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collect and analyze data to track student progress on IEP goals
- Collaborate with IEP teams, educators, and parents to enhance student outcomes
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and prepare necessary reports
