An opportunity exists for a skilled professional to provide specialized speech-language services in an educational setting. This role focuses on supporting K-12 students with diverse language needs, particularly within a multicultural environment.

Qualifications:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license or certification.
• Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-8 students.
• Proficiency in conducting language screenings and assessments.
• Strong ability to develop and implement Response to Intervention (RtI) plans.
• Cultural competence in working with students from varied backgrounds, especially Nepali and Kinyarwanda speakers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Location:
Dublin, OH

Responsibilities:

• Conduct language screenings for kindergarten students and evaluate speech and language needs.
• Collaborate with education staff to identify students requiring speech and language services.
• Develop and facilitate language RtI groups to support students ongoing communication skills.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for each student served.
• Provide targeted interventions for students with speech and language delays.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and strategies for support.
