Qualifications:
- Valid Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist License
- GaPsc Teaching Certification or eligibility to receive it when the school year starts
- CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or CFY (Clinical Fellow Year) candidates are welcome
- Strong knowledge of K-12 educational practices, particularly in elementary settings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Location:
- Duluth, GA
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose students with speech and language disorders, developing tailored treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy services to students, monitoring their progress and adjusting instructional methods as needed
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support students' overall well-being and academic success
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation as required by school policies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP (Individualized Education Program) development
