Job Description
An exciting opportunity awaits for a skilled professional to support students in a K-12 educational setting located in El Cajon, CA. This contract position runs from July 23 to June 11, focusing on a diverse caseload of 55 to 60 students. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in Spanish, enhancing communication and support for students and families.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist License
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
- Previous experience in a school setting, particularly with K-12 students
- CCC-SLP or CFY certification preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Location:
- El Cajon, California (on-site)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to assigned students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to implement IEP goals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
- Support students with varying needs and create an inclusive learning environment
