Job Description
An opportunity exists for a dedicated professional to support students in a dynamic K-12 educational environment. This role focuses on providing tailored speech-language pathology services to meet the diverse needs of approximately 25 students, ranging from Pre-K through 21 years old. The position is structured as a full-semester contract, running from August 2025 to May 2026, with a 0.6 FTE commitment.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Current state license and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Proficient in collaborative practices within educational teams
Location:
Elkhorn, NE
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student needs
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment as required
- Maintain accurate records of services provided and student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the overall educational development of students
