Engage your professional expertise in a dynamic educational environment as a Speech Language Pathologist. This position offers an exciting opportunity to support students from pre-kindergarten through to high school in Elkton, MD, for the upcoming school year.
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders.
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) outlining goals and the approach to achieve them.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to implement IEPs and track student progress.
- Conduct therapy sessions in accordance with state regulations and best practices.
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Communication Disorders.
- Valid Maryland SLP license; CFs seeking supervision are encouraged to apply.
- Strong understanding of K-12 education systems and special education policies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and staff.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a school setting.
Location:
- Elkton, MD
This contract position requires a commitment of 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Supervision will be provided for Clinical Fellows.
