Job Description
This Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at a K-12 school located in Eloy, AZ, offering a contract position from ASAP through the end of the school year. This role involves providing speech therapy services for students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade. The position requires a commitment of 32 hours per week with a focus on delivering effective speech-language support tailored to the educational environment.
Key responsibilities include evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of speech and language disorders, collaborating with educators and families to support student success, and adapting therapy approaches to meet the diverse needs of students across grade levels. Teletherapy experience and comfort with pediatric populations will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders
- State Speech-Language Pathology licensure
- Experience working in a school setting preferred but not mandatory
- Certification of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) is advantageous
- Familiarity with teletherapy delivery methods and pediatric caseloads is a plus
