A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in a K-12 school setting. This full-time position focuses on providing quality communication services to children from kindergarten through eighth grade for the 2025-2026 school year.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders
- State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience in a school environment is preferred, though not mandatory
- Knowledge of pediatric speech and language disorders
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
Location:
- Essex Junction, VT
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and diagnose speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
- Provide direct therapy services to students requiring speech and language support
- Collaborate with educators and staff to create a supportive learning environment
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress
- Participate in team meetings and parent conferences as needed
