Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with young children, particularly in a school setting
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to collaborating with school staff and families
Location: Flint, MI
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students speech and language needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for students requiring speech and language services
- Provide direct therapy to students, using evidence-based practices
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student achievement
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
