Location: Forney, TX
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to support students.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to a caseload of 50 students.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy techniques as required.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and IEP compliance.
Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist with a CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence).
- Experience in school settings, particularly with K-12 students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations regarding student health and education.
- Proficient in developing IEPs and conducting assessments.
