Job Description
An experienced professional is sought for a full-time position in Fort Wayne, IN, within a dynamic K-12 school setting. This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with other SLPs and support students with diverse communication needs.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure (CCC)
- Experience in pediatric speech therapy, preferably within school settings
- Familiarity with Indiana IEP processes and software
- Ability to collaborate effectively with instructional staff and support teams
- Must have Indiana Teaching certification
- Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
Location: Fort Wayne, IN
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students on a manageable caseload, utilizing a 3:1 service delivery model
- Collaborate with fellow SLPs and licensed assistants to enhance the delivery of services and support IEP development
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine student needs, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of each student's challenges and strengths
- Maintain accurate service logs for Medicaid documentation
- Participate in weekly and monthly meetings to discuss student progress and strategies for intervention
- Serve as a resource across 1-2 school buildings, fostering communication and support among staff and families
