Job Description
In a dynamic educational environment, a dedicated professional is sought to provide exceptional speech-language services to students from preschool through eighth grade. This role focuses on addressing the diverse needs of a caseload consisting of 30-35 students, ensuring that each individual receives the support necessary for their communication development.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)
- Experience working with early childhood and K-12 students
- Strong understanding of various eligibility categories, including Autism and Intellectual Disability
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Location:
- Fremont, CA
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students requiring speech and language services
- Develop and manage IEPs, collaborating with educators and parents to support student goals
- Case manage approximately 10 students receiving speech-only services
- Deliver targeted interventions to students with varying needs, including both speech as a related service and speech-only services
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and services provided
