An opportunity is available for a skilled professional to support students in a K-12 educational setting. This contract position is based in Fremont, NE, and involves working with a diverse caseload from Pre-K to 21 years old, focusing on the communication needs of 25 students.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)
- Experience in teletherapy and virtual service delivery
- Prior work in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educational staff and parents
- Proficient in developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Location: Fremont, NE
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement tailored therapeutic interventions
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students needs
- Provide consultation and training to staff regarding speech and language development
- Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations as needed
