Job Description

In a dynamic educational environment, professionals are sought to provide specialized speech-language pathology services to students ranging from Pre-K to 21 years old. This contract position spans the full semester, focusing on supporting approximately 25 students within a K-12 setting.

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
• Experience working with K-12 students
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Knowledge of various speech and language disorders and treatments
• Proficiency in using relevant assessment tools and therapy techniques

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students' speech and language needs
• Develop and implement tailored therapy plans based on individual evaluations
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student goals
• Monitor and document students' progress and adjust therapy as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a comprehensive support plan
• Provide direct therapy services in one-on-one and small group settings
