Job Description
In a dynamic educational environment, professionals are sought to provide specialized speech-language pathology services to students ranging from Pre-K to 21 years old. This contract position spans the full semester, focusing on supporting approximately 25 students within a K-12 setting.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Experience working with K-12 students
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Knowledge of various speech and language disorders and treatments
- Proficiency in using relevant assessment tools and therapy techniques
Location:
- Fremont, NE
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students' speech and language needs
- Develop and implement tailored therapy plans based on individual evaluations
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student goals
- Monitor and document students' progress and adjust therapy as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a comprehensive support plan
- Provide direct therapy services in one-on-one and small group settings
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records in compliance with regulations
