Job Description
A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist is sought for a full-time, on-site position in Fruita, CO, serving students across multiple school sites. This role focuses on providing comprehensive support to individuals with identified speech and language needs within a K-12 educational framework.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly in school settings
- Familiarity with Medicaid billing processes in Colorado
- Valid Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 50 students
Location:
- Fruita, Colorado, with services provided across 1-3 school sites
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Serve as a case manager for students on the speech/language caseload
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for students
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as required
- Ensure compliance with all state and district regulations regarding speech therapy services

This contract position runs for the full semester, starting August 5th. Candidates must be able to obtain their CDE prior to the start date and must pass a background check.
