Seeking a licensed professional to provide essential support within a K-12 educational environment. This role focuses on addressing the communication needs of students through comprehensive assessment and targeted intervention strategies. The position is based in Gallatin, TN, and involves covering maternity leaves, offering an opportunity to make a significant impact from August through November.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Valid state license and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with K-12 students preferred
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Location:
- Gallatin, TN
Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student goals
- Provide direct therapy services to students requiring speech and language support
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to enhance students overall development
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation as required by school policies
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
