Job Description
An opportunity is available for a dedicated professional to support students in need of communication skills development. This part-time position is based in Garland, TX, with a focus on providing tailored speech and language services to elementary students.
Qualifications:
- Current Texas Speech-Language Pathologist licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly in a school setting
- Proficiency in assessing and treating articulation and language disorders
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other specialists
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Location: Garland, TX (with assignments in Rowlett and Sunnyvale)
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments to students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct therapy services for students with identified needs
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy techniques as required
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to facilitate student learning
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided
