Job Description
In a supportive educational environment, professionals will provide essential speech-language services to students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade. This contract position is designed for the 2025-2026 school year, offering an opportunity to impact the lives of approximately 40-50 students.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
- Strong understanding of various speech-language disorders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team
- Experience with IEPs and individualized education plans
Location:
- Gillette, WY, serving at various school buildings including elementary and junior high levels.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and provide therapy for students with speech-language disorders
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to ensure effective intervention strategies
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and outcomes
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development opportunities
- Adapt therapy techniques to meet the diverse needs of students
