An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support an elementary school in Glendale, AZ, during a maternity leave. This position entails working with students from September through November, focusing on providing essential communication services and support.
Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC)
- Experience in teletherapy
- Proficient in working within school settings
- Familiarity with elementary age groups
- Previous experience as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Location: Glendale, AZ
Responsibilities:
- Assess students' speech and language needs and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services to students on your caseload
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to implement IEP goals
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation as required
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress
