An opportunity exists for a skilled SLP to support students in a middle school setting. This position is based in Goffstown, NH, and is focused on fostering communication skills that are essential for academic success and social interaction.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in SLP
- Current state licensure as a SLP
- ASHA Certification of Competence in SLP
- Experience working in school settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Familiarity with various speech and language disorders and treatment approaches
Location: Goffstown, NH
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students speech and language abilities
- Develop and implement appropriate therapy plans tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students overall development
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing educational strategies
- Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings
