Rewarding opportunity for skilled professional to provide crucial support in a K-12 educational setting located in Golden, CO. This contract position focuses on covering multiple medical and maternity leaves for the 2025-26 school year, with assignments running from August to December and October to May.
Qualifications:
- Valid Colorado Department of Education special provider license
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC or CFY)
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
- Knowledge of various speech and language disorders and treatment techniques
- Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach to student care
Location: Golden, CO
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in students
- Develop and implement appropriate therapy plans tailored to individual needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students communication goals
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation of services provided
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Provide direct therapy services and monitor the effectiveness of interventions
- Engage in continuous professional development and stay updated on best practices
