A Colorado-based institution is seeking dedicated professionals for speech-language pathology positions focused on K-12 students. These roles are designed for individuals with a strong commitment to enhancing the communication skills of children in a school setting. The positions are available for the 2024-2025 school year, running from August 11, 2024, to May 28, 2025.
Qualifications:
- Current Colorado licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) completion
- Experience working in a school environment preferred
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Location:
- Golden, Colorado (near Denver)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide diagnoses for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student goals
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP discussions
- Provide direct therapy services and consultative support as required
