Job Description
An opportunity exists for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide essential support to students in a K-12 setting near Grand Junction, CO. This full-time, on-site position is focused on serving students with identified speech and language needs, emphasizing a collaborative and inclusive educational environment.
Qualifications:
- ASHA CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred
- Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology, particularly in school settings
- Familiarity with Medicaid billing processes in Colorado
- Colorado SLP licensure, or the ability to obtain it prior to start date
- Strong case management skills and ability to work across multiple sites
Location:
- Grand Junction, CO
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Serve as a case manager for a caseload of approximately 50 students, collaborating with educators and parents
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and treatment outcomes
- Work directly with students across 1-3 school sites, ensuring consistent support
