Job Description

An opportunity is available for a skilled professional specializing in school-based speech-language pathology. This contract position is set for the 2025-2026 academic year, focusing on providing essential support to students within a K-12 educational environment in Green Valley, AZ. The role involves collaboration with educators, parents, and other specialists to enhance students' communication skills and address diverse needs.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience working with K-12 students, particularly those with disabilities such as Autism, SLI, DD, and OHI
  • Strong assessment and formulation skills for individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Location:

  • Green Valley, Arizona

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement appropriate IEP goals and strategies tailored to individual students
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to facilitate communication interventions
  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Provide guidance and support to SLPA as needed
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and staff meetings
