A skilled professional is sought to provide speech-language pathology services in a K-12 school setting for a contract position covering a leave of absence. This role involves working primarily within autistic support classrooms, catering to a diverse caseload of 29 students ranging from kindergarten to age 21.

Qualifications:

• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Experience working in school settings, particularly with students with autism
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Knowledge of IEPs and related documentation processes

Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students requiring speech-language pathology services
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students on your caseload
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support students communication needs
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy as necessary
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to overall student support
• Maintain professional documentation and comply with all relevant regulations
