Job Description
We are excited to present an opportunity for skilled professionals to support students in a K-12 educational environment located in Greenville, SC. This full-time contract position involves working closely with young learners to address a variety of speech and language needs.
Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist with a CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Valid educator certification for the state of South Carolina
- Experience working with primary level students, particularly in self-contained classes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educational staff and parents
- Previous experience managing caseloads in an educational setting
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students on your caseload
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to create supportive learning environments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and interventions
- Conduct group and individual therapy sessions in accordance with IEP goals
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
