Job Description
Dynamic opportunity available for certified Speech-Language Pathologists seeking to make a meaningful impact in an elementary school setting. This role focuses on supporting students with diverse communication needs from Kindergarten through 4th grade.
Qualifications:
- Masters Level degree in Communicative Disorders or related field
- Indiana Speech-Language Pathology License
- IDOE Certification
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose students speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans tailored to individual needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes
- Provide direct therapy services and adapt methods to ensure effective communication
- Conduct workshops or training sessions for staff and parents regarding speech and language development
