Job Description
An opportunity exists for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in an educational setting in Greenwood, IN. This part-time position focuses on providing assessments and interventions for middle and high school students with a range of speech and language needs.
Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist with ASHA CCC preferred
- Valid Indiana teaching certification and SLP license
- Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly in school settings
- Strong assessment and individualized education plan (IEP) development skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educational staff and families
- Clear background check and drug screen
Location: Greenwood, IN
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluations and develop appropriate intervention plans for approximately 30 students
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to implement IEP goals and monitor student progress
- Deliver direct therapy services to students with mild to severe speech and language needs
- Conduct regular team meetings to discuss student progress and adapt therapy as necessary
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student assessments and therapy sessions
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
