An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist looking to make a meaningful impact in an elementary school setting. This full-time position spans the 2025-2026 school year, serving a diverse caseload of 47 students. The role focuses on providing comprehensive speech and language services to facilitate student success from August 2025 through June 2026.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)
- Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly within school settings
- Proficient in conducting assessments and developing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
Location:
- Greenwood, SC
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement appropriate IEPs tailored to individual student needs
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy techniques as necessary
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress
- Collaborate with educational staff to support students' overall development
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and needs
