An exciting opportunity is available for licensed Speech-Language Pathologists looking to make a meaningful impact in an elementary school setting. This position focuses on serving a diverse student population, addressing various communication needs and ensuring that each child receives the support necessary for their educational success.
Qualifications:
- Current South Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Valid teaching certification
- Hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or be a Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) candidate
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary-age students
- Strong assessment and intervention skills in speech and language disorders
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Location:
- Greer, SC - Elementary School setting
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose students' speech and language disorders through formal and informal evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' needs
- Provide direct therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication skills
- Monitor and document students' progress and adjust therapy techniques as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a supportive learning environment
