Job Description
A qualified candidate is sought for a contract position in Gualala, CA, servicing a K-12 school for the upcoming academic year. This role involves working Monday through Friday, beginning in mid-August, and will focus on providing comprehensive speech and language support to students across various grade levels.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educational staff.
- Provide direct therapy to students requiring speech and language intervention.
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of student progress and services provided.
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience in a school setting, particularly with K-12 students.
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with IEP processes and educational standards.
