A dynamic educational environment is seeking dedicated Speech Language Pathologists for the upcoming school year. This role involves working full-time in an elementary setting, providing essential support to students with diverse communication needs. With a manageable caseload of approximately 55 young learners, you will play a crucial role in fostering their speech and language development.
Qualifications:
- Certified Speech Language Pathologist (CCC)
- Experience in school settings, particularly with elementary age groups
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and interdisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation requirements
Location:
Hanford, CA
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students' speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy to students and monitor their progress
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support students overall communication goals
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide input on student needs
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their childs progress and needs
