Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other specialists
- Knowledge of IEPs and relevant education laws
Location:
- Hayward, CA
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose students speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy to students with varying needs
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student goals
- Conduct screenings and maintain accurate documentation of student progress
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a supportive learning environment
- Engage with families to facilitate understanding of student progress and needs
