Job Description
A licensed professional is sought for a contract position in a dynamic K-12 educational setting for the 2025-2026 school year. This role is essential in providing comprehensive communication support to students across various grade levels, ensuring that each child receives the guidance they need to succeed.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working with preschool through 12th-grade students
- Strong understanding of varied caseloads and their unique needs
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Location:
- Henderson, NV, with assignments throughout the Las Vegas area
Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat students with speech and language disorders
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and parents
- Manage a caseload of 45-50 students, providing tailored support
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and interventions
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
- Utilize provided resources to enhance therapy and instruction
