An exciting opportunity awaits for an experienced professional specializing in the provision of SLP services within an elementary school setting. This role is crucial in supporting the communication needs of students, ensuring that each child has the resources necessary for academic success and personal development.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
- Strong assessment and diagnosis skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and staff
- Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Location: Hollis, NH Elementary School
Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to identify students speech and language needs
- Develop and implement tailored therapy plans for individual goals
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting as required
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support students overall development
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student cases and IEPs
- Provide guidance and resources to parents regarding communication disorders
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records
