Exciting opportunity for a skilled candidate to make a meaningful impact in a K-12 educational setting. This full-time position is based in Hollister, CA, for the 2025-2026 school year and involves working with a diverse student population to support their communication needs.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech Pathology
- Certification as a CCC-SLP preferred, but not required
- Experience with K-12 students, particularly in school settings
- Proficient in assessments and developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide diagnosis for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure effective integration of speech and language goals in the classroom
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy techniques as necessary
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate documentation of services provided
- Provide guidance and support to families regarding their childs communication development
