An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled candidate looking to make a positive impact on the lives of elementary students. This full-time position is located in Ione, CA, and focuses on providing essential communication support to children in grades K-5.
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Communication Disorders or SLP
- Valid California State SLP license
- ASHA CCCs (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Previous experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Location: Ione, CA
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy to students requiring speech and language support
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' needs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
